My style is open and loose, utilising texture and complexity of finish through a variety of methods of application.
Despite this abstraction my work relies upon strong underlying principles and techniques of drawing.

Much of my work is completed in oils in the studio from en plein air watercolour studies.

As well as painting in the studio I teach life drawing classes, give demonstrations to clubs and societies, deliver art lessons and can provide supportive critiques.
